GENFILT

NAME

genfilt - general purpose filtering

SYNOPSIS

genfilt (-i item) (-l lowfreq) (-h highfreq) (-n order) file

DESCRIPTION

genfilt is a program to design and apply general purpose IIR filters to speech and lx signals. genfilt can design low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-stop filters.

OPTIONS

-I Identify program name and version number.

-i item Select input item number.

-l lowfreq Select frequency of low-pass band edge. Default 0.5xsampling frequency.

-h highfreq Select frequency of high-pass band edge. Default 0Hz.

-n order Select filter order. Default low-pass and high-pass: 4, band-pass and band-stop: 4, maximum 20.

HISTORY

lowfreq= low-pass band edge

highfreq= High-pass band edge
